Self Loyal Studio is your quiet, online practice space for finally choosing yourself — no performance, just practical practices, clear paths, and private tools that turn small, honest choices into real change. We help you stop ghosting yourself and start showing up by combining down-to-earth, evidence-informed methods, guided journeys, and private accountability so healing becomes something you do every day — not another inspirational quote you forget by Tuesday.
MISSION
Help you keep the promises you make to yourself… not just the ones you make to everyone else.
VISION
A world of people who steward their own wellbeing: self-respect replaces self-neglect, solitude becomes strength, and everyday decisions come from inner safety — not from trying to please the room.
CORE PRINCIPLES
PRIVACY-FIRST
Anonymity and data protection are non-negotiable — your business stays your business.
EVIDENCE-INFORMED
We use practical, real-world methods (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy -style reframes, mindfulness, behavioural activation, self-compassion) — science, not snake oil.
ACCESSIBLE GROWTH:
Repeatable practices that actually fit real life (yes, even when you’re busy, tired, or distracted).
SAFETY & SCOPE CLARITY:
Clear disclaimers, intensity tags, and crisis resources so you know what you’re getting into — no surprises, just sensible boundaries.
FOUNDER STORY
I created Self Loyal Studio after a long, very un-Instagrammable unlearning phase. I’d worked hard, built a promising career, and could see a clear path up. Then I chose to step off that path to be a homemaker — got married, had babies, and somehow became the household’s full-time nurturer, scheduler, fixer, and feelings sponge. On paper, I had “time.” In reality, my own needs quietly moved to the bottom of everyone’s list, including my own.
There was also a lot of family traffic in the middle of my life: co-parenting dynamics, in-law opinions, step-parenting expectations — many people, many emotions, not a lot of space for me. A lot of requests, judgments, and unspoken rules landed on my shoulders, and over time I slipped into a toxic rhythm of over-functioning, people-pleasing, and some very unhelpful coping habits.
One day, something was said that hit harder than usual, and I realised I’d completely lost sight of the woman I wanted to be.
So I started rebuilding from the bottom up with simple, practical things: journaling honestly, using actual scripts to say “no,” trying grounding exercises instead of spirals, and creating habits that helped me choose myself on purpose. I’m still very much a work in progress (I trip over these “new shoes” regularly), but I keep more of my own promises now — and that’s huge.
Self Loyal Studio is the space I wish I’d had back then: a private, online studio with practical paths, usable tools, and zero performance. I’m sharing what helped me so you know this is human, imperfect, and possible. You’ll also notice there aren’t photos of me or even my full name everywhere — that’s on purpose. This isn’t a fan club; it’s a studio for all of us to stop disappearing and start choosing ourselves, one honest choice at a time.
